How to Overcome Vagina mildew

Infections of the vagina or vaginitis is an inflammation of the female sex organs that cause odor. In some studies, yogurt could help women to prevent vaginal yeast infections.

There are three main types of vaginal infections are vaginal yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis and trichomoniasis. Approximately 75 percent of adult women have had at least one vaginal yeast infection. Vaginal yeast infections are caused by an excessive growth of fungus, Candida albicans. Candida albicans is usually controlled by the bacteria present in the vagina. But when the natural vaginal environment disturbed by the use of antibiotics or certain medical conditions, increase the number of candida albicans, and cause fungal infections, as reported by LIVESTRONG.

Yogurt is a fermented dairy product made by adding good bacteria in it. Yoghurt contains probiotics or live microorganisms that benefit the body. Probiotics are also known as friendly bacteria because they help prevent the overgrowth of bacteria that cause disease in the body.

MedlinePlus recommends that women who experience vaginal infections to consume yogurt contains good bacteria or taking lactobacillus tablets to prevent fungal infections. Yogurt contains lactobacillus acidophilus, a bacteria found in a healthy vagina.

Caution against the use of certain medications. Acidophilus, for example, kills yeast by producing hydrogen peroxide. Women who use broad-spectrum antibiotics are more likely to get a yeast infection. Broad spectrum antibiotics kill all bacteria in the body, including the bacteria that are normally found in the vagina. This can cause the vagina. Women who use antibiotics are usually recommended to eat yogurt that contains good bacteria to prevent the overgrowth of yeast.
